WonderFil pre-wound bobbins are wound with our 80wt DecoBob thread in a reusable plastic bobbin, which means there is no glue or wax holding it together (which also makes for happy machines)! DecoBob makes for an ideal bobbin thread as using a finer weight thread will also minimize the bulk in whatever you are doing, however DecoBob also has the strength, versatility, and reliability you can count on.

Pre-wounds are a fantastic choice because they come wound uniformly meaning you will get more consistency in all your stitches, which is especially noticeable when doing embroidery. They also come wound with a higher density of thread than when you wind your own bobbins on a domestic machine.

Cosmic Feathers is a modern take on the lone star design. The Small Throw has 24 feathers, while the Large Throw has 48 feathers. The 16 Color Version uses 16 fabrics once within each feather, while the 8 Color Version uses 8 fabrics twice within each feather.

The scrappy version is totally up to you, taking note that each 2” x 21” strip will show up as six diamonds within the quilt top. In addition to half yards, fat quarters, and fat eighths, the pattern includes instructions for using jelly roll strips or even fussy cutting single diamond pieces.

Copihue Pattern by Fran of Cotton and Joy. The Copihue (pronounced co-pee-way) is the national flower of Chile, my home country. This pattern was inspired by its distinct bell shape and uses block rotation and reflection for a modern look full of fun whimsy. Copihue is the perfect pattern for confident or advanced beginner sewists ready to try curves. Pattern includes helpful diagrams, detailed instructions, and links to helpful video tutorials for those trying curves for the first time.

Sizes: Baby (43″ x 47″), Throw (61″ x 67″), Twin (67″ x 86"), and Queen (91″ x 86″). Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. The pattern assumes the quilter knows basic piecing and is comfortable sewing curves. Format: Professionally printed, saddle-stitched A5 (5.5" x 8.5") booklets, and come in a clear hanging bag.

Buttoned Up is a traditionally pieced quilt recommended for the confident beginner sewist and up! The pattern includes instructions for making a Large Throw size (65 1/2" x 77 1/2") and a Small Throw size (53 1/2" x 65 1/2"). Buttoned Up includes a bonus Heart Button block pattern as well.
