Bolt Busters are $6.50 per yard by weight, with an average yard being approximately 5 ounces, as quilting cotton from various brands are different weights. Approx. $3 listings are about a half yard.

Note that canvas yardage is heavier, so you will get about half as much yardage as quilting weight

Bolt is the perfect way to use a charm pack or layer cake. The Baby size uses a charm pack and some background, while the Throw and Bed sizes use a layer cake or fat quarters. Fabric pieces are cut with templates included within the pattern.

skills Include: Utilizes snowballing corners, marking blocks accurately, and sewing on the bias. Familiarity with 1/8" markings on ruler. An accurate and consistent 1/4" seam allowance is necessary.

Pattern assumes that the quilter has basic piecing and quilting knowledge. Pattern is fat quarter friendly. Requirements listed in photos.

Width of fabric must be at least 42" for yardage and is assumed unwashed.
